Nature in Art
Nature has inspired man’s creative endeavours for many thousands of years. It has been interpreted by different cultures and at different times in countless styles and media. Nature in Art is the world’s first museum dedicated to art inspired by nature where 70 artists each year work in residence. Their diverse output can help us discover the glories of art and art technique, and to see the natural world through fresh eyes. They can draw our attention to both the minutest detail and the bigger picture, pricking the conscience, sowing the seed of awareness and nurturing appreciation of our natural world. www.nature-in-art.org.uk
