Dominic will be demonstrating how he applies his short stories to glass through the process of drill engraving. The stories range from the whimsical to the very dark and are inspired in part by his time living and working in Singapore and his many visits to Japan. They incorporate highly detailed images along side the text, all scratched onto the glass surface using a diamond burr in a small hand held drill. The centre piece of the artworks created for Art In Action will be an engraved story called “The Indelible Kiss” which will feature an image of the lips of Colleen Francisca, winner of Miss Singapore World 2006.
