Internationally acclaimed contemporary figurative sculptor Eve Shepherd MRBS, is best known for her challengingly compelling, yet sensitive works. With over 20 years experience her ‘Bozzetto’ works engage the viewer by bringing into form the aspects of the human condition, the inner world. These works are inspired by the psychological attributes of ancient primal archetypes. In her ‘White Work’ she sculpts tender portraits, often designed to challenge societal prejudice and give a figurehead to the faceless aspects of history, or commemorate great achievers.  At this year’s event she will be giving hands on demonstrations of how she models the clay to create a sculpture that ‘breaths life’, and captures ‘spirit’.
